One of the drivers hired a local instructor to help him all day. That instructor said he had been running Hallett on a regular basis of 20+ years. He said he has a Spec Miatia that has the standard engine. He said he does not lift much and almost never uses his brakes, he just turns. Any of the high HP cars can blast past in the straights, and he just reels them in on the turns.
It is just scary coming into the bus stop corner and go deeper and deeper each run. My wheels were up to 180 degrees, and the rotors were over 300+ when I got back to my spot in the covered parking.
I want to pull the pads and check them out for any issues, and maybe bleed the brake fluid. The pedal is just a bit spongy until the brakes get hot. Likely just some bubbles from the heat. The fluid is just 3 months old.
