Vash, If you know of a really old fishing shop that has some Cortland braided line, I believe 21 pound test, that was made of "irish linen" made from flax, white with green specs? Made back in the 50's and 60's? Buy it! You've found gold...not for fishing, for the restoration of classic pool cues made by past masters. It was used as the wrap on cue butts.
The "irish linen" wrap made today just isn't the same...if you come across it, I could put you in touch with people who would love to have it.
