a little lighter on the accelerator would do the trick.
I have found that my hood pads are gone ( hence the peeling paint on the hood ) I'm sure that would cause noise. Also check the engine / firewall area. I have seen pictures that show padding where mine has since gone.
I personnaly have in the back of my mind that once I take care of the obvious things to always put some sort of padding or insulation in any area that I do work on.
I would love to put some sort of coating on the engine compartment , If I ever have to remove the engine.
Any work on the doors will find them full of padding etc...
