Khadaffi has learned to keep a low profile ever since the US picked up that big stick and proceeded to air-condition his tent in 1986. the Lybian bedouin, replete with mirrored sunshades, has learned his lesson on that occasion and does not think twice not to "mess with the U.S." as he has no other threats to his political survival. therefore, he would be a fool to induce anything that would constitute a threat to his rule
