Just saw a “barn find” that sold that was in pretty rough shape, so that motivated me to test the interest in my 71’. I’m at a crossroad with the project, so I figured I would list it for sale. If it sells, great. If not, I will continue with my current plan for it.
The asking price is 30k. That will include the rolling chassis as it sits, 901 trans, and the following brand new parts: Porsche ignition and keys, New Dansk front fenders (pair), new Dansk front bumper (no fog cutouts), new Dansk rear bumpers (pair) without exhaust cutout, and new H4 headlights from Porsche. ****I am not selling the individual parts, so please do not ask to separate.
The car is an original “Leaf Green” (7777) sunroof coupe. It appears to have been a California car, but does have rust in the nose that appears to have been associated with poorly repaired accident damage on the front right. The back half of the car appears solid with what appears to be only surface rust in small areas.
I have this project car along with a beautiful widebody 1974 coupe. Just trying to trim down to one car and will keep whichever one doesn’t sell. The 74’ will be going on BAT shortly, so that is off the market, but will see if there is any interest in the 71’ here. There is a small loan on the 71’, but I have the title and it’s in my name with the small lien so there is no funny-business with the title.
