We've had 12 people test positive in my workplace since it started, though none of the 30 deaths in my county were co-workers. It's crazy how at work people vacillate between demanding the company shut down, screeching about the draconian protective measures (masks and social distancing required, temperature taken at entry) and declaring the whole thing's a hoax.
Living in a less populated area, I can see how the crisis could seem overblown. If it weren't for work, I'd know no one that's tested positive.
