If you don't believe the science and the Dr's, who are you going to believe, the politicians? We know that ALL politicians are liars. Don't be so hard on the scientists, as this started out with an unknown, so they were wisely experimenting... that's what scientist do. It's not like they were dealing with the cold or the winter flu, where they can tell you what to do like, take advil to address the fever, drink lots of fluids and stay home so you don't give it to others. I am sure that when you started your business, you didn't have all the answers and you too were experimenting and I betcha you made mistakes. These scientist and Dr's are doing their best and they know that people's lives depend on them. They were smart enuf to recognize that like the flu you should not go to work (or out so you don't infect other people... so what's wrong with that advice? The other fact is that you can get a "flu" shot or get vaccinated at your local drug store in the fall so you don't catch the flu. All this is known with the flu because a lot of work went into research and development to help us deal with the flu . We are at the early stages of dealing with this covid including trying to get a vaccine developed and if you don't like science, you won't like the way they research and develop a vaccine (R&D is another word for trial and error!).Can you imagine what the world would look like if science didn't figure out how to make insulin? polio vaccination? heart valve? flying? So all we have so far before they lick this thing is to be smart, be courteous, stay apart, hygiene, be aware of the people around you to do the same thing, maybe educate them? I'm all ears if there is anything better than this. As a friend of mine reminded me once, HOPE is not a strategy.
