Well, these stories bring back some great memories. Daisy was given to me by a neighbor who, very unfortunately could no longer house her. They used to give her stuff to calm her down. Our town's fireworks are shot off at the park adjoining our cul-de-sac and nearly go off right over our heads. Hundred of friends and neighbors fill the street.

The first year Daisy stayed with me she was a bit nervous. But I kept her with me and reassured her. When we sat down in the street, she sat her rear end on my shoe. She felt comfortable with that contact and would not move her hind end until after the show was over. She calmed right down.

It became the same ever Independence Day. It was the only time she would do that, and she did it every year. This is the second 4th without her and I miss her sitting there on my foot as we took in the spectical.
