As a puppy took my dog outside when it was thundering. Ran towards it barking. I just sat in a lawn chair and ignored it. After a while she got bored with it and stopped chasing after it. Now she ignores the booming noises. Probably helps that I have an amusement park 4 miles away that does firesworks every summer night. Kinda makes 4th activities not so eventful. Would likely make a good gun dog.
