Funny you should mention that. When my GF had the flat (in the story above), she called a male friend of hers to help her change the tire. She called me while he was changing the tire, and
HE asked me which way to turn the bolts to get the tire off!!!! Now, I know lots of people don't know everything about cars, but which way to turn a bolt to unscrew it is a pretty basic thing here. Needless to say, I told her to tell him to put everything back in the car and not touch it. That is why I had to come home early to fix the tire.
