Its a weird problem for sure...I will try first an Electric Contact Cleaner spray. Disconnect and clean all rubber contact plugs, male and female connecting sides. Start with the front inner fender connectors first and the flasher and relay plugs next. Use a little dielectric grease on the pins. If you have the original fuse block also clean all fuses after spraying them and clean with a scuff pad or sandpaper.
I was going crazy and the original fuses and connectors were the culprit. They had a thin powdery substance on the ends (electrical corrosion?)and was preventing a good connection?
