Good idea. Police once told me that most thefts of this type are done by someone living nearby...maybe right in your own neighborhood. The dumbass had to know that you had some stuff worth grabbing...maybe even heard or saw you using the blower recently. Your stuff will probably show up on Craigslist or at the local fleamarket pretty soon.
Is the lighting actually that bright when the camera records? If so, this chump was pretty ballsy...and pretty stupid...not to be scared off by it. Unfortunately, the police won't be able to do anything about it. Thanks to Prop 47 here in CA, junkies and other lowlifes are pretty much free to steal anything that's not nailed down...as long as it's worth less than $1K.
Yes, those are extremely clear pics. I remember when the banks would post photos of robbery suspects near the teller lines. These bank security shots were so blurry that you wouldn't recognize any of these perps even if they were standing right next to you. Satellites could've probably taken better pics from space!
