The auction made no mention of the transmission getting rebuilt to take the power of this car, if J-P knows something that the rest of us don’t, then so be it, which is why I said I’m clueless. You don’t rebuild a turbo motor for added horsepower and then remove its turbo transmission to replace it with the normally aspirated 5 speed transmission Porsche put in cars with half this horsepower. It’s kinda stupid to put it lightly. If they wanted to swap it out with a 5 speed, then do so with the G50/50 which is meant for a turbo. And to put so much value on an engine rebuild receipt that’s a few months shy of being a decade old and at least 4k miles later (if not much more) is just as ridiculous.
This car sold for way more than it’s worth. Like I commented on the auction post sale - Well sold seller!
