I'm not trying to change the subject here, but Matt you once said my Ruf 6 speed wasn't that special. At the same time you said you weren't saying it wasn't an expensive transmission. Later I learned that it is the same exact trans used in a CTR from that Axel84 thread on CTR value discussion, I also learned the ratios there. I don't know if the ratios are special just because I'm completely ignorant about ratios.

Axels CTR had part no 0072 R 50-50, mine 0081 R 50-50 out of a BTR III (89) imported into Japan in 94. I was thinking a CTR 6 speed has too be a little bit special especially coupled with a BTR ruf motor don't you think? I'll leave it to the gear heads, me not well informed.

I'll take this opportunity also to say sorry for the other day, if you can accept that and still want to talk to me or make amends. I am willing. I'll try to put a plug in the jug. Ain't got any plugs at the moment though.
