Needing advice on purchasing a streaming device for my TV

I have had a smart TV for years and used it's menu for YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu. I just switched to a projector and although it has a smart feature - it sucks. The projector uses Aptoide TV where you download certain apps but Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu are not available - only YouTube.

I want to buy a streaming device but I'm looking for simplicity and I know nothing about these things. I do not want anything with a monthly fee. Hopefully I can plug into the projector and it will be as simple as selecting the source (i.e., HDMI 1).
