I think I will give the Firestick a try. I don't really care about the Bluetooth because my projector is hard wired to my surround or you can use the projector's built in speakers. I generally use the surround system for everything.
BTW, I also have a smart DVD and that gets everything my TV had. I just don't like using it because it seems to have a delay and always attempts to startup the dvd player first and eventually moves on to the tv.
