Yeah... your idea of why masks are worn is why the country is f'ed up. This is no singular reason to wear a mask. If you are healthy and want to avoid getting the virus when around others, you wear a N95 or better. If someone doesn't have the virus, why would there be worry of them spreading the virus Shaun? Now I know there are asymptomatic cases, but in Island's telling about his mom, odds of her being asymptomatic are pretty slim since she's in the high risk category. She wore the right mask Shaun. She wore a mask that would protect her which is the primary goal for someone at risk. You don't know what you're talking about.
FWIW: A N95 mask with a port will allow droplets to escape. A cloth mask that doesn't seal around the face tightly, as in the masks that are being recommended for public use, will allow droplets to escape. In close quarters I'd rather have both people wearing a mask to reduce the spread.
