My vote goes to Jack Bruce. Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton sounded like 6 insted of 3. (Well, Baker sounded like 3 drummers all by hinself.) Kinda like ZZ top. I'm not a musician, but I listen(ed) to a lot of music in a critical way. I don't see how 3 people can fill the sound the way those guys did. I think a lot of it had to do with Bruce playing melodies or rhythm and a bass line at the same time.

Do I know what I'm talking about? No.
