Deep Purple has a special place in my memory:
Back in (est) 1977......I drove my Boss down from the mountains to town to get some tools he needed. We were in my 1969 Malibu. Along with picking up the tools, my boss also picked up one of his girlfriends. We stopped in Oroville for dinner, after that we headed on up Feather River Canyon. On the way up, my boss & his GF hopped in the back seat, whilst i was driving and proceeded to knock it out.........Deep Purple, "Space Trucking" was cranking thru my Pioneer Super Tuner & 6 Craig speakers...........I can still remember the sounds & smells.
