I don't actually care about the realism as I always go online and read up on whatever technology/event/personalities etc to find out what the "real" story is without having to sit through our illustrious Hollywood mental giants play-act on screen for me.

I therefore avoid tear jerker movies, movies with strong social messages, movies which are a platform for glorification of some "famous" actor....I want happy endings, see a few pretty girls preferably with as little clothing as possible, get a few laughs and feel good afterwards.

If I want to become depressed or deal with idiots I will go to work.
