By the time I figured out it was the single most maudlin, sappy, over the top, tear snatch and jerk movie of all time I was in for the duration...I could not stop watching.
Jesus, I go in for "Heart String Recovery" surgery tomorrow.
Again, having sailed around the world flying off Frigates and Destroyers doing ASW and many other missions, I can't wait to watch Greyhound. I have been on the bridge of an FFG in big seas and lived the green room experience. Many times. Also, "man-bed separation": The pitch rate as the ship enters and exits the wave will lift you out of your rack. Every bunk and rack has belts to keep you in.
Spoiler alert: Any helos?

.....no helo's but there are a lot of severely angled decks.....
As for being caught in the maudlin trap, those are the kinds that my wife usually wants to watch (why is it that girls want a movie that they can cry along with? One of the other mysteries of womankind.) and then I get sucked in and next thing you know my eyes are sweating uncontrollably and...sheesh...I look for places to hand in my mancard.
Ah well, you'll like it......it will be entertaining....
