I watched it last night...don't get your hopes up. It's mostly digital eye-candy with ho-hum acting (Elizabeth Shue's part could've been cut and not even missed) trying to prop up a very thin and predictable story line. Not even remotely close to the energy and intensity of Das Boot or U-571.

I think this film would've totally bombed had it been released to theaters as a summer 'blockbuster'.

And no helos either...
