It's always nice to go look at any 911 that is available, especially if no one else knows about it except the owner. 10 minutes from my mountain village I got to see 2 of them. Friend of 4 years showed up today and finally took me to them. One more car I saw two years ago nearby at his mother's place, so this discussion might encompass 3 cars.
I ain't sayin I'm interested in any of these. Personally I have 2 911 project cars. I have neither the space, the time or money to take on more. I'd love to if I could. Just throwing this out here because it was fun to see them. If there were opinions, I would like to know which one you'd choose if it were you and you could only take one of them. I'm torn between all of them even though I can't take even one.
Keeping it short if I can I will send a few photos I took, describe what I can for now. Pardon for lack of detail. I only have what I have on detail. i never try to look too interested in a car I may want to buy.
1. 73T , solid body and original motor, trans and yellow was color originally vin 91135xxx
2. 80 SC not original motor but has 3.0 motor and targa. Looks original like wine red and targa.
3, 73S, not original motor, original trans, originally white color now orange. Severely rusted front floor and rockers, frp front fenders, comes with 74 S bored 3.0 motor with good carbs.
Sorry for lack of detail and no pics today on #3. I'll post some pics of #1 and #2 cars I saw today. Those 2 cars have or come with the parts missing in photos.
This is just for fun or interest, just some cars I saw for the first time today. No one else knows, even car #3 which belongs to the friend's friend. I saw that 2 years ago but I don't know where the photos are right now.
