Can't thank William enough. Long story as short as I can make it.
I bought a 911 roller last June. While hunting around the usual spots for an engine, one thought that entered my mind was, "it'd be great if someone local had a hot rod motor they weren't using." Around that time William PM'd (I posted a WTB ad here on Pelican) about just that type of engine. William led me to YermanCars, who had the engine and lives about 15 miles from me. A good deal was made.
Over the past year I've PM'd both of them with questions about the engine. They've both been incredibly helpful.
Today I walked away from the car due to a frustrating electrical gremlin. 20 minutes later, no joke I get a text from William asking me if I got it running. I describe the issue, he makes a suggestion and sure as schit the engine fires right up.
Just a few bugs to work out on the car and it's time for some 350ish hp - 2500ish lbs fun.
