That's cool that you got the machines working for your friend.
Cruise control works great, but I don't use it because it's less things to think about, and I don't like my brain getting lazy on the road.

Its an older CNC coil winding machine. The guy is a competitor of mine, or "Friend-petitor" if you will. We both manufacture guitar pickups for a living.
He's used to older mechanical machines like the big green monster from the....60's, probably. He bought the Tanac a couple years ago, but hadn't been able to figure out it's programming. Even for me, it was a bit weird working with an LCD screen. My winders have a nice GUI.
