I know nothing about boats, but back in the late 70’s - early 80’s, my friend a Magnum tunnel boat with a huge Mercury in the back. One time on Lake Lanier, going super fast, we went over one wake and the front send went under water on the other side.
Our hats, glasses and beers went flying off us. Laughed our asses off.
