got more work done on the 944 builder the last few days.sadly I haven't had much time to do more work on the 944 because I'm trying to get the Bugeye sprite job finished upon order to get the next Bugeye into the shop.
not surprisingly the fiberglass hood and nose fits like total dog poop. because I'm installing a LS3 engine into the car I will need lots more room for the bigger radiator so the old radiator support and air baffles have to go along with the cross member between the front of the frame rails.
the customer wants none flip up head lights so I will have to design and build them because the kits use the old head light mounting points that this car will no longer have.
I still have about 10 more 1/4 turn speed fasteners to install to hold the nose on once they are all installed I will need to then fix the gaps. the fun will be matching the lower parts of the fenders to match the flat rocker panels. the fenders roll and the rockers are flat.
