I wondered the same. Possibly all the right people laid hands on this car back in the day. Now that they are the stuff of legend the receipts that people kept are helpful when seeking top dollar.
I pored over the receipts and most work was done 20 years ago. It also appears that 5th gear wasn’t changed out so it’s like a 4spd with overdrive, not my favorite type. You can see that the bang-up video does not include a shift to 5th.
