I rolled to 100,000 on my 85 911 so long ago I don't remember. I am at 176,000 now. I have driven my 911 in 40 states, and Canada. My goal is to hit all lower 48 states, maybe even 49 with Alaska, but that is just a maybe.
Keep on drive your 911. It always makes me sad to see a G body 911 with 20,000 miles. I can appreciate a super clean car, but the 911 is a car meant to be driven. Drive it, put miles on it. Enjoy it. It is just a car, but the perfect car!
I have a little analog book for my El Camino that I record all the events and work done.
I bought is with 42,901 miles on October 9th 1991
I turned 100K back on October 20th 1995
I turned 200K on December 22nd 2002
I turned 300K on October 31st 2011
I pulled the worn out 305 a month later and replaced it with a brand new crate engine 350 ($1,700) on November 19th 2011. and I am now at 371,000 miles.
I don't drive near as much as before since I now work from home and my commute is 14 steps down the hall to my home office.
