Looks like we were posting at the same time. Looks like dog teeth, which could match the observation of not being able to find first.
In case it's not obvious, don't start the car again, so you don't run the teeth through the gears any more that whatever already happened.
I'm more of a DIY rebuild kinda person. If you take a 915 to most shops, you can expect a pretty fat bill, since they're going to want to go through the whole thing, replace all the bearings, etc. And that's if most of it is salvageable.
