Good you asked - I had never considered hooking it up anywhere but at the WUR. Maybe whatever manual I had looked at showed it that way? Maybe I just saw it as easier. I even went a year, racing, with it installed and hung from a trunk lid hinge (valve open, of course) so I could look whenever I wanted at what was going on. A hose is a hose is a hose.
