I purchased an '87 944 parts car for the engine. The remaining parts are available. The transmission, rack, control arms, and some interior parts are gone. The clutch components are available.
The '87 engine was put in a 85.5 944 w/an AT. The #2 rod bearing spun and damaged the crankshaft. The engine was running when removed, but knocking. Most of the engine parts are available.
