We are just 3.5 miles as the signal goes from the TV station we watch for weather. The portable HD TV has a weird OTA antenna for the digital signals. They are not real strong reception but watchable.
Digital TV was one of the many great lies from the government and companies pushing for the change. All we heard was how the signal was digital and just had perfect picture. They never mention that it is either good reception or just gibberish or nothing at all. With the old analog TV we might get snow and crappy picture but the sound and a semblance of a picture was there when reception was crappy.
