Here's where things get interesting.
This morning I went back over to Mom's to do some more work. On my way there, I took Riverside Dr. to check the guy's property out from that side. It looked really nice - fitting in well with the historic district.
On to Mom's - got that done - on my way home decided to take the same road as yesterday - Faulkner St. that he turned off and into his drive. As I was slowly going by - there he is. Walking by the side of his house with a screwdriver and something else in his hand. He notices me as I try to catch his eye. He looks over and I say "I followed you yesterday just to hear that sweet flat 6 exhaust music." He broke out in a big smile and walked over. He said - you know that's a special car. They only made them from '84 to '89. It's called an M491.
A Turbo Look 911...no wonder I was attracted to it!
Has a stainless steel exhaust apparently. Nice guy - we chatted for about 15 minutes and then agreed one day maybe when it gets cooler we'll get together and drive each other's cars around a bit...lol.
