We install lots of Axor, Hans Grohe's higher end product. Of course a ton of Hans Grohe's regular stuff too. Graff and Newport Brass are also very good. I shy away from Kohler only because for a little more money, people can do better in terms of style, fit and finish. If you go to Ferguson's don't buy those foo-foo products made in France, GB, or places like that. They may look great and perform well, but getting a part is a PITA.

I have Axor in my masterbath, Newport in the other.

Do you have a seat in the shower? think about having two showers in there? A hand held on the bench the other, a regular shower. I know, its illegal to do that now, but the plumbing (rough valve) can be hidden behind a marked tile all plumbed in place. Remove tile after final inspection and install trim and hook up shower. Its super convenient to not have to get up to change the selector on the other side of the shower. Safer too. Have main control near the entry and shower head coming out the other side. At initial turn on, you don't have to run for your life from the evil cold water because it comes from the other end. One step, shut off and walk out. Easy pleasy.
