I have one of these, now over 20 years old that still works like a charm. It is my hurricane a/c.
I cover it with a plastic trash bag and seal the bottom. It stays at my barn shop. I get it out once a year for op checks.
It cools a large room after we lose power. I just need one room cool, with a TV and internet
