I cover it with a plastic trash bag and seal the bottom. It stays at my barn shop. I get it out once a year for op checks.

It cools a large room after we lose power. I just need one room cool, with a TV and internet My Buddy.

The AC in our apt failed earlier this year as it was starting to get hot. The maintenance guys had it fixed it 3-4 hours, but in the interim, they "installed" (opened a window) something exactly like that. It had our place (~900sqft) cool in about 15-20 mins.
