I don't have a scope, but I talked to Air Guns of Arizona about them. They said air guns have more recoil generally than lots of rifles, & if you don't have a scope built for it accuracy suffers. I'm sure other guys on here with more knowledge than I have can comment.

This applies to the springer guns. You can get a reinforced scope to handle the recoil.
