Biking today on a trail that was very busy.
Returning to my car...I saw the car parked next to me was a Type R. Not many in my area yet. First I've seen other than in the showroom.
Talked to the owner for quite a while about it. He was very happy with it...except for one small problem. He said that since buying it...he has had to replace three rims so far. The roads around here are not 'low profile tire' friendly. He opted for the rim coverage when buying the car..so there was no cost to him.
Makes me wonder why would I even consider tires/rims that are so susceptible to damage?
Otherwise...I love the car. (his was black and his bike fit easily in the hatch)
