To anyone that lives in Michigan, your roads do indeed suck. Big time. We were on a tour up to Mackinaw Island, which is really cool. Traffic slowed down, and the MDOT truck had one guy up on the top of a dump truck shovel down some loose asphalt into a pot hole full of mud and debris, like any open pot hole. And they drove off. They did not compact it down at all. Only traffic driving over compacted it at all, and with mud on the bottom it would not last the week. The Michigan winters are brutal on roads and cars.
Owning a car with super short profile bendable wheels is asking for problems in Michigan.
