POP!! Ahh, I can see! OK Dave, that is the plain english I was looking for. I have read manny of the forums and posts, but there was still ambiguity that the lay person (me) could not seem to breach. I am intending to program a blank chip to use for a carbed corvair power plant using EDIS. I will later hook up the FI class and MCAT schedual permitting.
Most of the links that I was going to were dead and didnt have what I "thought" that I needed. I need to "assemble the .s19 files" which I am still not sure about. Supposedly there is a CODE Faq that I am not able to find that discusses this. I think for the most part that I am possibly looking too deep and that this is more user friendly that I am making it.
I will be hooing up my Willette prgmr up trough a serial bus adaptor, but I am privy to the power/programming issue. Ill keep a 9v handy.
