Zero doubt, we know that is a hoot to drive on a pretty day. I bet it really sucks in the rain, or below freezing days, or on a 40 Celsius day. It is a single use vehicle. No one is going to commute in heavy traffic in a car like that.
Comparing it to any modern production car is just not a fair comparison. 99.99% of the population of the planet want more out of a car than "just goes like stink" fast.
My 35 year old 911 is primitive enough, yet it has AC that will make me cold on the hottest days, a heater to keep me warm in well below freezing temps, and keep my wife and I comfortable on a one day long 900 mile road trip and it is a blast to drive on the track or autocross.
