I had an 06
Two things it didn't do well
1). The AC left you lukewarm. It was ok, but not GM great. Simple workaround. Put the top down.
2) For me, ymmv, the car left me, hmmm, well lukewarm.
It was good, reliable, handled nice, shifter was great, electric top was great, but...
For me it never ignited raw passion. It seemed like a Corvette lite, and all my friends had Corvettes.
Just for prospective on me.
I traded the car for a Lotus Elise. That car ignited my passion.
Yep, a challenge to get in and out of.
Yep, Honda parts are cheaper and more reliable
Yep, the S2000 was safer.
Nope, never once caught myself, after a drive, just sitting in the S2000 for an additional 30 seconds just because. I did frequently in the Lotus.
I was obviously dropped on my head as a child too many times.
Go drive the S2k. They are very good cars. if it pushes your passion button, enjoy the ride!
