I would love to have one with a Comptech (or equivalent) supercharger kit. I had a friend with an '04 and it just needed a bit more power... kind of like a stock Elise. The handling is certainly great, though.
I'm 6'2" and found it roomy enough inside. Certainly better than a Miata (new or old).
There are some local shops that build turbo S2Ks - not on the stock bottom end i'm sure - putting out 600+ whp.
