Just tell them you were joking around. They love that!
They have access to any paycheck and can trace that back to the taxes paid.
We had the great honor of getting audited for out first year in business. I had to buy a new printer, scanner, fax, copier and two reams of paper to print every single receipt and make two copies. One for my CPA and one for the IRS. It took me a full week just to make all the receipts. They decided we were within a few bucks and admitted it would cost more to open the file, and have me pay it that it was worth. I twas about 20 something bucks.
