Like John says, pretty scenic, but it went downhill when logging started to suffer. It hasn't really recovered. Lots of poverty, meth, and the problems that go with all of that. I bet half the town is on some kind of welfare. So, yeah, lots of people there renting because they cannot afford to buy. I would worry about the property when renting in an area like that. Don't expect the renters to keep it up or anything, if that's what you plan to do. Probably better to sell and get while the gettin's good.
