I thought that number would be a lot higher. Ages 0-18 make up roughly 25% of the US population, so .5% of that population distribution are missing. I bet the largest subset of that group are 14-18yr olds that got sick of their parents **** and hauled ass.
Anyway, I had not heard about it either. Great story to hear, thanks for sharing.
