I text but I refuse to have a conversation over text. So for info or a quick "I'm on my way" it's great.
If my kids send me a text asking a question I call them and guess what, they often don't answer.
I've been dumped via text. I tried calling the lady as soon as I got the text and guess what, she didn't answer... lol
A few years back the place I worked for disabled text messaging in an effort to save money and guess what happened... $$$$$. 3 months later they switched text messaging back on.
