Not sure about all the Sc's but mine is wired for a rear center channel which was the hot setup in the late 70"s & early 80's. May want to check yours out and wire accordingly if you are upgrading all the speakers.
I left mine as is and stuck a pair of Pioneers up front and replaced the Blaupunkt cassette/short wave with an Alpine. With my M & K and wind noise, it is just fine on longer trips as Glen pointed out.
