Re the Su27 with the sign plastered on the intake:
It reminded me of a story about the Canadian built CF 86 Sabre jets deployed in Europe in the '60s. On one exercise, a Canadian pilot was "strafing" a Belgian command post at low level. When he got back to base, he had part of the radio truck's antenna stuck in his wing root.

A little too close.



Sorry I can't find a link to the story, but it can be found (with gun camera images) in a book called The Canadair Sabres.
